Interview with Eyes of the Elders
by Robo Robb on Oct.18, 2009, under Hip-Hop
All I have to say is I wish this interview could have gone into the early hours of the morning. The whole group is so fascinating. Their live performance is also a treat. They use a diverse array of sounds and styles and bring it all together like it was meant to be! If you have a chance you should definitely check the video I took of thier live performance on my myspace ( myspace.com/roborobb ) they sound great!

Interview with Scapegoat
by Robo Robb on Oct.18, 2009, under Rock
This was the first group I linked up with when I got down to Charlotte. I want to give a big thank you to Royer, without him I wouldn’t have known about some of these groups I have been interviewing. All the guys in the band are very nice and deserve all the success they achieve. This interview might be hard to hear. We did this back stage at a huge metal show at the Tremont Music Theater. I hope I can interview these guys more as the years progress. But for now this will have to do!

Interview with Neonmethods
by Robo Robb on Oct.18, 2009, under Rock
This interview was very interesting and the atmosphere is great in the Waffle House. I was very surprised by the answers to my questions I think you might be too. This is the raw unedited version as opposed to the one that was aired on WXOU. I think you will enjoy listening to this interview as much as I enjoyed the waffles!

Chicken Paprikash
by Robo Robb on Oct.14, 2009, under Adventures
So I just typed out this recipie and thought since I spent the time I might as well share it with everyone!
Chicken Paprikash:
Ingredients:
-1 whole chicken
-Paprika (hot or mild)
-1 onion
-a bag of tarhonya (egg barley maneshewitz brand in the Kosher section of your grocer will work)
Butter
Water
Salt and pepper
Sour cream
step one: dice up the onion and brown it in a huge pot. With butter or you can substitute olive oil.
Step two: cut the chicken into 1/8ths… Cover chicken on both sides with paprika and brown chicken outside.
Step three: cover the chicken and onions with water just until chicken is covered. Put a lid on it and turn to a simmer.
Step four: melt butter in pan and brown tarhonya (or egg barley)… Proceed by following instructions on package every noodle is different.
Step five: cook until chicken is tender
Servings: serve chicken over tarhonya and use the water you cooked the chicken in as gravy over the chicken and noodles… For a richer flavor mix in sour cream after it is at the table to taste and salt n pepper to taste!!!
Enjoy!
My Story/ Interview with Stephanie of Tonks and the Aurors
by Robo Robb on Oct.12, 2009, under Arts, journalism, Rock
This summer I was very busy collecting stories that I could air on WXOU in the Fall to help our news director out. My home girl Kirby “Kirbalicious” Hairston host of the 1 o’clock take over suggested I do a story on Wizard Rock. I had previously never even heard of such a thing and was intrigued enough to google “Wizard Rock Michigan” and the first group that popped up was Tonks and the Aurors. After sending a myspace message to Stephanie (the founder of Tonks and the Aurors) in the matter of just a few days I was making a trip to the lovely city on Ann Arbor to interview her. Below you will find the story I produced on Wizard Rock and beneath that is the full unedited interview for all of you who would like to know more! Enjoy!

Story on the School of Rock
by Robo Robb on Oct.02, 2009, under journalism, Rock
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Eugine and Augie (from the Hard Lessons) and learning more about the School of Rock. They are out here doing a lot of good for the kids. Take a listen, I would enjoy some feedback since I am still getting used to doing audio articles, lemme know what you think!
