News Story on Software Engineering with Mr. Uppercut

by on Apr.26, 2010, under journalism, Technology

I had the opportunity to speak with Saron, a.k.a. Mr. Uppercut from Detroit CYDI, about his job as a software engineer. I must appologize in advance, this story was hastily thrown together. Take a listen and enjoy! Hope you get a better understanding, as I did, of what exactly software engineering is all about.

by on Apr.19, 2010, under Electronic, Hip-Hop

When I say “Tunde Olaniran presents Cobra!” I’m saying it with a deep monster truck announcer voice while a T-Rex walks through a cloud of smoke with a shark in its teeth. Take a listen and give Tunde some feedback!

Interview with Waleed Abdulhamid

by on Apr.19, 2010, under World

I had the distinct honor of speaking with Waleed who happens to be a composer and musician. This guy seriously does it all (I am not joking look at some of the videos on http://letsfindaway.ca ). It was a pleasure to gain his perspective on charity after the earthquake in Haiti. Waleed and the project he is part of, “Lets find a way”, are organized to raise money for the world AIDS crisis. Take a listen to my interview with Waleed let us know what you think!

Radio Interview with Midcoast Most

by on Apr.07, 2010, under Hip-Hop

My first memory of these dudes was meeting Bum at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. They were handing out towels with their name screen printed on them. Since then I have seen these dudes all over town. On top of Midcoast Most  performing and recording, Eddie Logix has been working with every known Detroit rapper under the sun. I finally had the opportunity to speak to these guys live on my radio show (only after the lovely Miss Kirby Kirbalicious beat me to it!). Take a listen and give the guys some feedback. I was very interested about how one group manages to live, make music and perform with one another all under the same roof.
