I recently spoke with my friend Norman Witte about the company he works for, Affordable Fuel Injection. This was a piece I did for WXOU News on Friday, December 4th.

I have recently begun doing news stories for WXOU and this will be the first one aired. I had the opportunity to speak with Hubert Sawyers about social media and it’s role in the Metro Detroit area. This summer I was very busy collecting stories that I could air on WXOU in the Fall to help our news director out. My home girl Kirby “Kirbalicious” Hairston host of the 1 o’clock take over suggested I do a story on Wizard Rock. I had previously never even heard of such a thing and was intrigued enough to google “Wizard Rock Michigan” and the first group that popped up was Tonks and the Aurors. After sending a myspace message to Stephanie (the founder of Tonks and the Aurors) in the matter of just a few days I was making a trip to the lovely city on Ann Arbor to interview her. Below you will find the story I produced on Wizard Rock and beneath that is the full unedited interview for all of you who would like to know more! Enjoy!

Even at Harry Potters School there's the rock n' roll crowd!

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Eugine and Augie (from the Hard Lessons) and learning more about the School of Rock. They are out here doing a lot of good for the kids. Take a listen, I would enjoy some feedback since I am still getting used to doing audio articles, lemme know what you think!

I had the pleasure of taking a tour of one of the oldest uniform supply companies in the Pontiac area. Harwood was established in the 50′s and my homie Shawn Clarke is learning the ropes in hopes he will one day become the owner/ operator. This is my first journalistic audio endeavour so cut me some slack if it is not up to standards with NPR!

If you are from the Detroit area I really do not have to elaborate on these dudes. You know they interview far more artists than myself and are a great inspiration for me. Well next week they drop an album and I had rare opportunity of interviewing the interviewer. Check out my dudes Origix and D.C. of the Zone Radio as I turn the mic on them for their long overdue 15 minutes of fame.

These dudes are so busy making you all the story they never had time to get press photos of themselves... So this will have to do!

Flint town what up! Dangerous Lee is a wonderful personality with major ambition. On top of being a radio personality she is also a writer… check her out!

I have to say the only reason you all have been getting bombarded with all these blogs is cause of this dude right here! So if you don’t like it blame him… or just don’t check em’ out suckas! This dude has inspired me to get my blog hustle on. He’s very interesting and has much to say about the art of blogging. I garuntee you will learn something new, I did.

So I was browsing on Facebook, and a former classmate of mine posted something so hilarious I just had to share it with you. You can also check the program she has a hand in producing on WDET 101.9FM Detroit. It airs every weekday at noon and she also does the weekend events calendar (and always  includes great Hip-Hop events around the city of Detroit). Enjoy!

Subject: A draft statement denying conspiracy at the WTC on 9-11-01 in NYC:

Upon further review of my materials, statics, dynamics, structural engineering and thermodynamics theories, I can not sustain claims that the damage caused to the WTC in NYC on 9-11-2001 can be legally and scientifically explained as anything different from the reports accepted by the American government. Since this was the first skyscraper attack using a plane in recent years, experts were unprepared to assist entirely due to the fact that our data and previous theory on the structural analysis and potential outcomes of such an attack were incomplete. You see, we had spent all of our reserach funding on preparation for attacks by beasts such as King Kong, the Rampage video game monsters and this Cloverfield monster, which did, in fact, apply more force to buildings than the jets which hit the WTCs, and yet the buildings which were impacted by punches, foragging manuvers for food within the inner levels of buildings, thus severing steel beams with razor-like claws of the beasts…these buildings which suffered the horrific attacks by these monsters, like those in Tokyo during the Mothra and Godzilla terrorist invasions, did not collapse in such a fashion as the WTC. Unfortunately for skeptics, conspiracy theorists and science, again we are unable to agree given the nature of information available on the 2001 damage that there were any other forces applied to the buildings than the fires and plane impacts, and since prior theory was based upon these monster attacks, which we were so desperately paranoid of again, we can neither confirm nor deny the presence of any other explosives or operatives in the collapses of the buildings in New York. Had there been a giant ape, lizard, insect or space alien involved, we would have been able to give more conclusive testimony, however, insufficient research has been made up to this point on the topic of human attacks…it’s something we American academics and scientists avoid for obvious reasons. If there should be another monster attack in a world city, the United Nations and world citizens should please be advised that the United States of America and its educational and scientific institutions are the world’s foremost leader in any and all catastrophic claims analyses involving giant apes, insects or space aliens.
