Radio Interview with A7 and ZO!

by Robo Robb on Aug.26, 2009, under Hip-Hop, Soul

This spring I was lucky enough to speak with A7 and Zo! For everyone who is a regular listener of my show you hear Zo!’s work at the beginning of every show. The album is called Overdue Process. I suggest everyone go out and buy a copy because the production is solid, A7 has got something to say and the cameos are ridiculous.

In the spring of 2008 I had Pato, Emily Rose and D. Allie join me on my radio show for a spectacular broadcasting event. Coincidentallyall three of them where nominated for Detroit Music Awards this past year. I am very proud to call them all my friends and share with you this great impromptu moment from Pato and Emily. Pato played “a change is gonna come” by Sam Cooke, and was accompanied by Emily. Enjoy!

My purpose in life

by Robo Robb on Jul.30, 2009, under Arts, Soul

I am a new college graduate and have become obsesed with finding my purpose in life. I am also busy trying to reach my goal of doing 100 interviews in 1 year.

One night a few weeks ago I was watching Larry King, just like tonight. He was being interviewed on his own show cause he just put out a book. He said he has done 40,000 interviews… What the hell! This dudes like 300 years old seriously. After seeing this I decieded to set a life long goal to interview people until I’m 62.

This goal was added to my list of personal goals I have for myself on my “bucket list”. A couple weeks after that I came to the realization that I am probally having the best time of my life. So my ultimate goals of comfort dealing with wealth and relationships started to seem pointless to me. I then shifted my goals to achieving my life long goals list , now! Without hesitation I will begin doing these things on my list begining today.

Just a couple days ago I finally realized my true purpose in life. I was put here to make people feel important. I never knew that something like that was a talent but I guess it is. Through my interviews and interactions with other I am able to really make people feel good about themselves. So from tonight on I will do my best to hype you up in all you glory! Let’s go people!

Robo
