Interview with Quantum Foundry

by on Sep.20, 2009, under Adventures, Hip-Hop

First off, I want to thank Cataclysm from Quantum Foundry for showing a Northerner a good time down here in Charlotte. This past Friday he was kind enough to take me out to this Chinese restaurant called “Dim Sum” off of Central Ave. in Charlotte for a great lunch of the most tasty dim sum I have ever eaten. He ordered entirely in Mandarin (this dude is not Chinese). Cataclysm is a man of many hats and possesses the knowledge of many languages and cultures beyond his native village of Charlotte.

Two fridays ago I was skimming through a list of artists, my man Royer of Scapegoat sent me, and stumbled upon Quantum Foundry. I saw they had a show the very night I was just discovering them. So I hopped in my car and drove to the Milestone. I would compare this venue to a Detroit venue you might be familiar with called Paychecks in Hamtramck. A huge difference between the two venues is this venue was much smaller and the parking was more adequate than the alleys and abandoned lots of little Poland. I really enjoy this interview for the simple fact that it was conducted in the gravel parking lot which gave it a very cool background noise as the patrons of the Milestone began filing in for that nights show. Please check out my homies Quantum Foundry they are some very interesting dudes and this interview is all raw and uncut from the one that was previously aired on Robo-Robb Radio… Enjoy!

Here is the Music Player. You need to installl flash player to show this cool thing!

The cool thing about this photograph is I have only been inside of one home since I have been in Charlotte and this happens to be a picture taken in that very home (which is the rehearsal space for Scapegoat).
