I got to interview Spill Seed, another DJ at WXOU, and he brought his friend Tone Grown with him. This interview is not for anyone under the age of 13 years old or anyone with a weak stomach. We talked about rapping and hacking. It was very insightful and exposed me to a world I had never known before. Take a listen and… well normally I’d say enjoy but this is not an easy interview to listen to, even I had a hard time stomaching Spill Seeds conversation… Take a listen and buckle your seat belts folks!

Emily Rose is a great friend of mine. Not to mention she is hands down one of my moms favorite artists that I have worked with. This is my first interview with Emily (come to think of it another interview with her is long overdue). I don’t believe we even had planned on interviewing anybody on that night, she just happened to be on the show before ours (which was hosted by Drew Dawson a great photographer I have also interviewed) and decided to stick around and speak with us. Vote Saman Waquad and Laura DeSanto for Prez and Vice-Prez

I must say I have not been a student since last May and even I have noticed a change on campus this year. Last spring I was a very vocal supporter of Kristin and Saman’s campaign. This year lets not change a thing. I like the kind of positive steps that have been taken lets take some more. Kristin and Saman were Oakland Universities first female, Prez and Vice-Prez, duo to be elected to student congress. On a final note I would like to highlight my favorite part of their platform. Saman and Laura aim to create a more diverse and inclusive environment for all students regardless of background and for all of you who know me you know I would say “lets do it!” Take a listen to a brief interview I had with Saman this evening.

It is that time of year again, time to submit my audio for the MAB awards. For those of you who don’t know the MAB Awards is where college and high school television and radio broadcasters compete for the top honors of the year.
